Apostle Asiwaju explained that apart from awakening God’s divine purpose in the lives of participants, the conference will also add value to their ministries, not only as wives or pastors’ wives, but as ministers, leaders, and partners, as well as models in their generation.
“One thing is, this conference is going to be mind-blowing, and everyone will surely be blessed to achieve their purpose of God. We have been praying to bring down the presence of God, connecting ourselves to the Holy Spirit, and interceding for the unprecedented manifestations of God’s glory. As people of faith, we are optimistic, God is going to crown our plans with great success”, Apostle Asiwaju said.
Meanwhile, Apostle Josephine Femi Asiwaju, who is also the Senior Pastor of Word of Lights Ministries, has urged women to remain focused and diligent in making the most of their ministerial calling and virtuous life.
She drew the attention of women to biblical models like Esther, Ruth, Rebecca and other women she described as focused, diligent, prayerful, and hardworking. The qualities that enabled them to achieve their goals and purposes despite opposition and challenges. Asiwaju advised women against replacing diligence with excessive prayers. “Prayer is important, but it must be balanced with focus, diligent and continuous learning. You cannot succeed by praying alone without considering other factors,” she cautioned.

Asiwaju emphasised that as a Christian woman, married to a pastor, women should view themselves as a vital member of the church, supporting their husbands in the ministry and serving the community with their gifts and talents.
She highlighted further, “a woman minister must be a faithful wife, mother and leader, prioritising her family and fostering a joyful and supportive environment. She should do different ministries in the church and allow God to show her how He wants to use her in the body of Christ”.
Adding that, “she must be a distinct individual with her thoughts, opinions, and interests. Not being an exceptionally holy super-Christian because she also needs grace and should extend grace to others”.

“She should be a woman of Integrity, maintaining a high standard of character and conduct while being a source of encouragement through her words, actions, and prayers”.
Mrs. Femi Asiwaju claimed God has been helping her combine her roles as a counsellor, pastor, mother, and leader. “One thing God has helped me to do is to see His work as a divine assignment and service with the provision of grace. He has prepared and empowered me ahead of His assignments, and presently, I am working with supportive people with team spirit”.

On the situation in Nigeria, she said, “I am optimistic that Nigeria will be great again, if we are awakened to God’s purpose, walk in righteousness and be obedient to His word.”
