Ignorant Things We Do Against The Bible
As Christians, in one way or the other, there are things we failed to do in life unknowingly going against Jesus Christ teachings. The bible instructed us from practicing many things being promoted by the society today and many Christian today are practicing those things with the society.
There things we do as Christians that God is not happy with.
Today, the society is now embracing Lesbianism and Gay Marriages. When God Himself initiated and instituted marriage at the garden of Eden. If he had wanted lesbianism and gay, God would not have Created eve, rather he will have created a male and chosen him to be a wife to Adam. On many occasions, you may have admired someone of your same sex. It is wrong before God and it is a sin.
Wearing Ragged Clothes:
Leviticus 10 : 6. The bible talks about wearing torn clothes. “Do not let your hair become unkempt and do not tear your clothes, or you will die and the Lord will be angry with the whole community”. It is now a norm and culture being embraced by many, especially young people. That tradition has erodes the morals of human beings. Unlike Adam was ashamed of nakedness, nowadays people are not ashamed to go about naked. Don’t wear tattered or teared clothes, so that, you will not live a tattered and teared life. Rather, dressed moderately and responsibly to the glory of God.
Gossip and Talking ill of Others:
A christian who speaks ill of others is a disgrace to the church and the word of God. Leviticus 19: 6 “…Do not go about spreading slander among your people. Do not do anything that endangers your neighbor’s life. I am the LORD”.
Instead of taking ill of your neighbor, pray for them that God may grant them wisdom to do the right thing.
Gossip about him/her to God. With God comes the best counsel.
Criticism of Men and Women of God and Comparison among Denominations:
Don’t be quick to judge. God is the only Supreme Judge. Most Christians today find it easily to criticize and condemned the church and servants of God. It is ungodly and against the teachings of the Bible. Do not despise those whom He has called to save his people. Shun evil conversation if you want to save your soul from destruction.
