The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Prof Stephen Adegbite, has expressed optimism that Nigeria will experience peace and prosperity in the new year. According to a release by Celestine Toruka, the Deputy Director and Head of Media Relations, Bishop Adegbite affirmed that peace will reign across the nation, emphasizing that “without peace, there will never be meaningful development, and it is peace that will bring prosperity.” He declared Nigeria will move “forward ever, backward never.”

He urged Nigerians to pray for President Bola Tinubu, his government, and support the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda for positive impact. He noted that the first batch of Christian pilgrims are already in the Holy Land, interceding for Nigeria’s peace and prosperity.

He wishes President Tinubu, Vice President, First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and all Nigerians a peaceful and prosperous New Year.
