Coalition of Islamic Clerics, Women Groups, Community Leaders Mobilize Voters For 2027, Pray For APC House of Rep Candidate, OBE
A coalition of Islamic women prayer groups in Ishaga Tedo, Isolo Local Government Area, comprising AIFO, KELMOlT, FOMWAN, ALASALATU OLUWA LO NIKE, TAWAKALITU MOSQUE, JARNAT, and QODIRIYAH SALAM, among others, organized a special prayer session and town hall meeting for All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Hon. Monsuru Oloyede Bello (OBE), for the Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency II.

The event, held at the Ishaga Tedo Central Mosque, also featured a civic town hall meeting and consultation, drew a large turnout of Islamic faithful and provided an opportunity for a spiritual rallying point with civic advocacy and engagement.
Sheikh Mosadioluwa, along with other prominent Islamic scholars, coordinated the event, charging the candidate to be a good representative, be accountable to God and the electorate.

The meeting underscored the intersection of faith and governance, affirming that religious institutions will continue to play a significant role in shaping citizens and society.
In unison, the coalition prayed for peace in Nigeria, progress in Lagos State, and the success of Hon. Monsuru Oloyede Bello (OBE), immediate past Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, in his 2027 political ambition. Prayers were also offered for the speedy recovery and complete healing of the Chief Imam of Ishaga Tedo Central Mosque, Sheikh AbdulRasaq Orebiyi, who was unavoidably absent.
In his address, Hon. Bello expressed appreciation to the coalition and the Muslim community for their time, encouragement, support, motherly love and spiritual intercessions toward nation-building, family growth and communal development.
Hon. Bello expressed gratitude to the coalition and emphasized the importance of voter registration, urging eligible residents to participate in the Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise.

He urged all eligible residents aged 18 and above to participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise, and stressed that voting is not only a right but also a religious and moral responsibility.
“Your PVC is your right and your voice. This is the time to build the community of our dreams. Let us build Oshodi/Isolo Constituency together to a beautiful taste,” he stated.
Describing voter registration as a civic responsibility, he said, “Without your voice and your vote, we cannot build the Oshodi-Isolo of our dreams”, and noted that, “The foundation for credible elections is strong voter turnout”.

He appealed to parents and guardians to encourage their children and wards who are 18 years and above but are yet to register, to take advantage of the final phase of the CVR to register and collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
OBE also prayed for the speedy recovery of the Chief Imam of Ishaga Tedo Central Mosque, Sheikh AbdulRasaq Orebiyi.
The coalition assured the candidate of its readiness to mobilize eligible voters ahead of the 2027 general election.
