WHY IT IS DANGEROUS TO LISTEN TO LIES (Proverbs 29:12) – By Chris Joseph

“If a ruler listens to lies, all his officials are wicked” Proverbs 29:12.

I remember quoting the above scripture to one of our top gospel preachers. He was shocked to hear me say the hard truth to him because the majority of those working close to him are hypocrites who love reporting lies about others.

As a Christian leader, never conclude a case about someone without directly hearing from the person. Nicodemus asked those lying against Jesus Christ: “Does our law judge any man before it hears him? John 7:51. So, justice and fairness demand that both parties must come face to face before such matters are concluded.

Maybe that Pastor, Brother or Sister who backslide or left your Church was because they felt unjustly treated by the Church leadership. That Church leadership MUST leave whatever they are doing now and go in search of those brethren. Apologize and bring them back to faith as Jesus Christ is coming very soon, Mark 1:15.

There are those who through envy, specialize in telling lies against others in the house of God. Such people will be held accountable on the judgement day. Repent now and make restitution before it becomes too late!

Evang. Chris C. Joseph is a well travelled missionary, sought after conference speaker, author, and evangelist.
