The New Nigeria Leadership Forum (NNLF) was conceived at the 2005 edition of the Democratic Leadership training workshop ( DLTW) convened by the Africa Leadership Forum, founded by his Excellency, the former president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

NNLF was initiated by Bishop (Dr.) Priscilla Otuya, President, United Gospel Churches Association of Nigeria (UGCAN) and CEO, KOGA Faith Foundation (KFF), Nigeria & USA.

The forum aimed at providing a platform by which the visions and values of faith driven, truly patriotic Nigerians can be harnessed for national regeneration.

Before now, Nigeria and Africa thrived on imported ideas and policies that are foreign to our system and the reality of which has been the bane of development in the Nation and continent.

The exact state of Nigeria, born out of a marriage initiated by the Colonial masters, fed on food foreign and laid in the foreign cradle made for her by and still cramped in same cradle till now is a mental picture of a 60 year old man squeezed in a cradle of a day old baby which has resulted in taking out God from the affairs of the Nation.

The adoption has led Nigeria to where it is now, and that is the time to resort to God for solution and way forward through NNLF.

To mark the 17th anniversary of the New Nigeria Leadership Forum (NNLF) a special edition of lecture and award will be held on Friday, 10th of June 2022 at Rockview Hotel, Festac Town, Lagos.

Line up activities for the lecture and award is defining the first Democratic Education Conference for Women and Youths (DECOWY), and launching of Logos Institute for Governance, to prepare Nigerians as active and engaged citizens.

Also, some Nigerian men and women who have contributed their own quota towards a better and New Nigeria will be honoured.

Among those to be honour are, Publisher/Editor of Providence News, Gracious Akintayo, Apostle Edit Grace, Bishop Bathlomeaus Ariajagbe, Bishop James Grand Okocha, Pastor Ben Umeh, Amos Akinwale, Mother Success Okeke and others.
