Apostle Tony Olukoyede Sets to Launch Komnet International School of Ministry (KISOM), …Called on the Church to prioritize discipleship
Apostle Tony Olukoyede, International President of Koinonia Ministerial Network (KOMNET Int’l) and Senior Pastor of ImpactLife Center in Ogun State, has expressed his concern that the Church has deviated from its original purpose of seeking the kingdom, fulfilling the great commission, and achieving greater works, and has instead become focused on building a religious empire, crowd of followers, and accumulating wealth.

Apostle Olukoyede made this assertion during the announcement of the launch of the tuition-free Komnet International School of Ministry (KISOM), set to commence in June 2026 at PurposeLife Centre, situated on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
He declared, “Many, including ministers of God, are confused due to happenings around the world today. All manners of apostasy are emerging, and heretical teachings are rampant. People are fixated on the shadows of miracles, signs, and wonders, rather than focusing on what God has ordained to follow them.”
“Churches are turned into need centers, where people seek solutions like they would at a shrine, inquiring about how to kill enemies, get married, or attain quick wealth without emphasis on salvation and discipleship,” he lamented.

He further noted that the church appears to be fixated on the works of Jesus Christ, including gospel preaching, sin forgiveness, miracle workings, and eternal life restoration, rather than prioritizing the reconciliation that Christ envisioned.
Apostle Olukoyede decried the fact that religion has supplanted the true purpose of the church, with membership taking precedence over discipleship. “We have confined the great commission within the church four walls, using it to build a religious empire instead of expanding it to establish empires. Our congregations are large, but true disciples are scarce, and the few that are grounded in the faith, lack the understanding about God’s kingdom or His original purpose,” he emphasized.
He added, “We are witness to widespread defection and the propagation of false gospels, with all manner of rascality. We have cried out to God in prayer for the church, and His response is to rectify the deviations that have besmirched His name. It is important to acknowledge that when the church becomes mired in religiosity or deviates from God’s path, He intervenes to realign it with His purpose.”
Quoting Scripture and reminiscing about Komnet International School of Ministry (KISOM), Olukoyede said, the school’s vision was divinely birthed 14 years ago, on March 24, 2012, with the purpose of putting things in apostolic order and making a difference between the gospel of circumcision and the gospel of satisfaction. But with God’s leading, it is time to establish the school, not as a theological school, but as a finishing school to put things in order, with a focus on recapturing, re-engaging, and restoring the kingdom to apostolic order, and recognizing others who are driven by this in every city.
He emphasised that, this is what God is doing now and it is our responsibility to know the difference between the Greater Works and the Great Commission with, why God created us to finish His works through discipleship and ability to do all things.
Speaking further about the school, Olukoyede said, registration and tuition for KISOM are free, and the school with four foundational pillars that power its operation: the pillar of unity, of oneness, of strength for one another, and of orderliness is all about network, development, and fellowship for ministers of the gospel, because the church was built on the pillars and foundations of the apostles and the prophets.
He said the comprehensive courses with 16 modules and 16 lectures already prepared to be used as a modular system in the school are designed to enhance discipleship.

The program will commence with eight lectures in June, followed by a scheduled gap for development, assimilation, and adjustment. Participants will then reconvene three months later for the remaining eight lectures, and upon completion of which a certificate will be awarded.
Oluyede urged interested participants to register free of charge on the school’s website: www.comnetfamily.org
The inaugural segment of the two-day residential class is scheduled for Monday, June 15th, and Tuesday, June 16th, 2026, with participants expected to arrive on the afternoon of Sunday, June 14th, 2026, punctuality being crucial, while departure is set for the morning of Wednesday, June 17th, 2026.

He clarified that, though tuition is free but participants would be responsible for their feeding through food vendors, and a fee of N25,000 would be required to cover logistics such as generator fuel, accommodation, certificate issuance, and other essential services.
“It is our joy to partner with God, allowing Him to used us as co-laborers in unraveling these Kingdom mysteries in a simplified way and retraining gospel ministers,” Apostle Olukoyede stated.
