    Accredited and Approved NO FEES PAYING Degree Awarding Institution in Nigeria 

    Not many people know about the fully Accredited and Approved NO FEES PAYING Degree Awarding Institutions in Nigeria.

    To better inform and encourage the aspirations of many young career minded and academic pursuit candidates; parents and guardians whose desires for sound higher education had been truncated or frustrated still have a good opportunity waiting for them. PROVIDENCE News report that, the Federal Government of Nigeria in collaboration with The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), National University Commission (NUC) and Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have FULLY ACCREDITED and APPROVED the following NO FEES PAYING DEGREE AWARDING INSTITUTIONS in Nigeria.

    These special tertiary degree awarding institutions are a blend of Military and Civilian Staff and students without ASUU Strike. They are accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), National University Commission (NUC), Council for the Regulation of Engineers in Nigeria (COREN), Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE).

    These institutions conduct Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes in Allied disciplines.

    1. Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano State 
    2. Nigeria Defence Academy, Kaduna
    3. Airforce Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna.
    4. Nigeria Army University, Biu.
    5. Nigeria Maritime Academy, Delta.
    6. Nigerian Army College of Nursing Nigeria & Airforce College of Nursing, Kaduna.

    There can also be a change of institution on JAMB if AFIT is not your 1st choice. Application for Admission into AFIT still open into the following programmes:

    Undergraduate Courses (Degree):

    1.   B.Eng Aerospace Engineering
    2.   B.Eng Automotive Engineering
    3.   B.Eng Civil Engineering
    4.   B.Eng Electrical/Electronics Engineering
    5.   B.Eng Information and Communication Technology
    6.   B.Eng Mechanical Engineering
    7.   B.Eng Mechatronics Engineering
    8.   B.Eng Metallurgical and Material Engineering
    9.   B.Eng Telecommunication Engineering
    10.   B.Sc Accounting
    11.   B.Sc Banking and Finance
    12.   B.Sc Business Administration
    13.   B.Sc Chemistry
    14.   B.Sc Computer Science
    15.   B.Sc Cyber Security
    16.   B.Sc Economics
    17.   B.Sc International Relations
    18.   B.Sc Marketing
    19.   B.Sc Mathematics
    20.   B.Sc Physics 
    21.   B.Sc Physics  with Electronics
    22.   B.Sc Statistics

    National Diploma (ND):

    1.   ND Aircraft Engineering Technology
    2.   ND Mechanical Engineering Technology
    3.   ND Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology
    4.   ND Civil Engineering Technology
    5.   ND Business Administration and Management
    6.   ND Explosive Ordnance Technology

    .    (strictly for military and vetted paramilitary personnel only)

    Higher National Diploma (HND):

    1.   HND Aircraft Engineering Technology (Airframe/Power Plant Option)
    2.   HND Aircraft Engineering Technology  (Avionics Option)
    3.   HND Mechanical Engineering Technology (Manufacturing Option)
    4.   HND Mechanical Engineering Technology (Power and Plant Option)
    5.   HND Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology
    6.   HND Purchasing and Supply

    Pre-HND Programmes (PRE-HND):

    1.   Pre-HND Aircraft Engineering Technology
    2.   Pre-HND Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology
    3.   Pre-HND Purchasing and Supply

    POSTGRADUATE:

    1.   PGD Aerospace Engineering
    2.   PGD Logistics and Supply Chain
    3.   PGD Electrical/Electronics Engineering 
    4.   PGD Construction Technology
    5.   M.Sc Aerospace Engineering

    Minimum UTME Score for all degree programmes is 180 while that of diploma is 140.

    Encourage your child, ward and students to buy change of University Course Forms (UCF) at Jamb Office and go online to change their choice of courses to any of the listed higher institutions.

    Available courses at Nigerian Maritime University, Warri, are: 

    • Ports Management, 
    • Marine Economics and Finance.

    • Marine  Transport and Logistics
    • Nautical Sciences
    • Fisheries
    • Environmental Management
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Petroleum and Gas Engineering
    • Marine Engineering 
    • Meteorology
    • Marine Geology
    • Botany
    • Biochemistry
    • Microbiology.

    Score below 180 will not be admitted. But, Tuition Fees and Accommodation is not more than #50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira Only).

    QUALIFIED CANDIDATES interested in applying for the 2021/2022 ADMISSION Exercise can contact any of the listed Institutions address. 

    NO FEES CHARGED -Almost all expenses are paid for by the FG.
