It’s Time to Restore Nigeria From Hardship – Bishop Bank Jefferson
The presiding bishop of Mercy Tabernacle, Ogba, Lagos, Bishop Bank Jefferson has said, Hardship is everywhere in Nigeria, but God is going to restore their fortunes and all that has been lost with an abundance of blessings.
Bishop Jefferson assured, speaking on the church’s annual programme, Manifest, scheduled for Thursday, 3rd to Sunday, 6th July 2025 at the church auditorium in Ogba with the theme “I will Restore.”
“There is hardship everywhere in Nigeria, but God is going to restore the fortunes and all that have been lost with an abundance of blessings. Captives will be set free, and destinies will be recovered with diverse healing and deliverance. This is the time to experience God’s manifestation and restoration over losses, damages, and wastage that have eaten deep into the spheres of our lives, society, and nation”, he said.
Assuring that, Manifest 2025 is going to be an awesome time of refreshment and channels to encounter God’s grace of fulfilling His promise of, “I am going to restore” – people’s life, destiny, health, and hope.”
It is time to manifest God’s revelational knowledge through His word, direction, and prophecy over carnages, losses and wastage that have eaten deep into our nation’s fibre and societal systems. “God is bringing restoration to people, families, relationships and whatever He created in people’s lives that are lost or missed will be restored”, he declared.
Expected guest ministers at the 4-day programme, also marking the church’s 29th anniversary, are Bishop Mike Amamieye, Apostle James Ebohta, Apostle Uyi and his wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Faith Abraham, with other activities, includes medical outreach with experienced medical personnel to provide free medical consultations and medication for various ailments.
Speaking on the state of the Nigerian church, Bishop Jefferson believes the Nigerian church is presently in evolution due to teachings that have been taught, but there is a shift from work to grace.
“The church is at the point of transition of unlearning and relearning of what they are accustomed to human knowledge, but it is the finished work of Christ and grace”, he said.
