In a release signed by Celestine Toruka, the Commission’s Deputy Director and Head of Media and Public Relations, the NCPC boss commended the women for their resilience and dedication to service in the Christian community. He specifically acknowledged the First Lady of Nigeria, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, describing her as the “Esther of our time” and a “beacon of hope and light” to the body of Christ.

Bishop Adegbite expressed his commitment to running his office with integrity, stating, “I will run this office with a clean hand, and show people how it is done.” He assured the Association of his support for their forthcoming programme in March.

He made this call while receiving members of the Boys Brigade of Nigeria, a Christian organisation that mentors boys on a courtesy visit to his office. Adegbite shared his connection with the organisation, having been a part of it in his youth, and promised to continue supporting it.
“The Bible says when the righteous are in government, the people rejoice”. ”As Christians, we can bring a unique perspective and values to the political sphere and make a positive impact in our nation”, Bishop Adegbite stated
The NCPC boss also highlighted his accomplishments during his first year in office, including improving the commission’s image and successfully airlifting Christian pilgrims to the Holy Land.
