Prophet Samson Ayorinde with CAN, Lagos Island Zone Plans for Anointed Fire Crusade

The founding pastor, and General Overseer of, World Evangelism Bible Church (WEBIC), Prophet Dr. Samson Ayorinde has said that, in this tough time in Nigeria, with the present situation, the only solution is a reawakening of mind and revival of souls. “We know that the country is going through a tough time. But I believe, with the moving power of God, the unity and cooperation of churches, there will be a rebirth of a new nation of our Nigerian dream”. 

Prophet Samson Ayorinde, made this remark through his representative, Rev. Kunle Adeoye, the General Evangelist of  WEBIC, at a meeting with a group of church ministers and leaders across Lagos Island in preparation for a 3-day Anointed Fire Crusade organized by the Lagos Island East Zone of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in collaboration with World Evangelism Incorporation Worldwide (WEVIW) scheduled for Wednesday 13th to Friday 15th November, 2024 at Onikan Stadium, Lagos.

Seeking the support and collaboration of church leaders and ministers in the mobilization of their church members and inviting members of the public, Rev. Kunle Adeoye said, the crusade is going to be a great revival, and an awakened program to rebirth the country, citizens, and the society. The goal and aim of the well-planned and proposed crusade is to have a great conversion of souls, the redemption of men and women in the Lagos Island environment, also to have revival of all churches under the umbrella of CAN, revival in the body of Christ, and demonstration experience of the power of God, through healing, deliverance and breakthrough for everyone that will attend the crusade.

Admonishing the well-attended meeting of church representatives, and church ministers, Adeoye called for the participation and commitment of churches, ministers of the gospel, church workers, and other Christians to ensure a large turnout of souls for harvest. He charged the group of church leaders to be prepared, and ready to encounter God afresh because God is yearning, looking, and stretching His hand, to reach out to us.

“Everyone coming for the crusades should prepare because it’s going to be a great time of fresh meeting of God with His people”, he stated. 

The lead speaker, Prophet Ayorinde, and other anointed ministers of God are expected to grace the crusade with about 2000 mass choirs already rehearsing for the crusade, and other gospel artists that will minister during the crusade.

In his remark, the Lagos Island East, CAN Coordinator, and the Minister-in-Charge, Methodist Church of the Trinity, Tinubu, Lagos, Dr. Jonathan Bamidele-Oshin, emphasized that the idea that birthed and inspired the crusade is God. “God inspired and motivated the crusade, and looking at the present situation in our country, Nigeria, we need God’s intervention and visitation to overcome the challenges of downturn economy, insecurity, kidnapping, killings, corruption, human abuse, and other widespread crime that has bedeviled our nation, society, and homes.

Quoting from the scripture, Bamidele-Oshin said, that people are hungry, they need medical care, spiritual needs, and other things, and the Bible says, “If my people who are called by My name shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turned from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

With the level of Central Working Committee (CWC), sub-committees, and department meetings towards the crusade, and as God continues to lead, direct, and follow us, the expectation for the crusade’s success is high to achieve the purpose of winning more souls for the kingdom, reach the unreached, revival for the church, fostering the unity of the spirit among ministers, the church and Christians in the community. 

Dr. Bamidele-Oshin, rolling out plans in preparation for the crusade, appealed to well-meaning and successful Nigerians, community leaders, and Christians to come and assist financially, materially, technically, and spiritually for logistics, and organization of the crusade’s success. The crusade promises to touch and impact lives spiritually, materially, and medically. He called for volunteer workers, especially medical professionals, pharmacists, nurses, and carefree givers.  

Extolling the virtue of Prophet Samson Ayorinde’s ministry and his person, Dr. Bamidele-Oshin described him as a dynamic man of God, with a combined gift of evangelism, miracle, deliverance, healing, word of knowledge, and prophecy. He claimed to have known Prophet Ayorinde and encountered his ministry many years ago, and trusted the grace of God upon his life, and ministry with signs and wonders.   

In his submission, the Chairman of the planning Committee of the crusade, Apostle Daniel Olalekan Odejimi, confirmed that the scheduled open crusade is a serious business of soul-winning, apart from the free medical service, give away food items and evening sessions fire revival, Thursday and Friday morning are earmarked for minister’s conference. The expectations at the crusade are high, and people are awaiting the manifestation of God. “By the grace of God, we are expecting the greater move of God than before at this year’s Lagos Island Fire Crusade. There will be liberation in Lagos Island, spreading to the entire Lagos state, and Nigeria. We trust and know that God will do more than before in our midst, and our community”, Odejimi said.
