Wilson Yinka Badejo Foundation Provides Succour for Indigent Students

The Wilson Yinka Badejo Foundation continue building on the legacy of it’s founders to realize its objectives, “we help and empower the less privileged in reaching greater heights”, has opened the window from March 15 to April 30, 2024 for the award of 2024 scholarships to some indigent students in the nation’s public higher institutions of learning as part of activities mark for the coming annual WYBF Lecture. 

The foundation, founded in 2007 by late Rev. Dr. Wilson Badejo (a former General Overseer, Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria) and his late wife, Rev. (Mrs) Adeyinka Badejo as the co-founder focuses on providing programmes and support services that help meet some of the needs of less privileged people and impoverished people in Nigerian society.

Over the years the foundation, apart from being able to rehabilitate and empower over 2000 at-risk youth (area boys/girls) in Nigeria society, have provided over 500 scholarships awards to indigent students from different parts of the country and completed several community development projects. 

With the vision to “help and empower the less privileged in reaching greater heights”, since the passing away of the founders in 2021, the foundation Board of Trustees has resolved to immortalize the contributions and legacies of the founders with continuation of the foundation objectives.

The children of Rev. Dr. Wilson & Rev. (Mrs.) Yinka Badejo with Rev. Sam Aboyeji, the Gen. Overseer, Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria.
