Pastor Oladiyun Charges Pastors on Development for Stress-Free Ministry Work
The Senior Pastor of Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM), Pastor Wole Oladiyun, has charged church leaders and ministers of the gospel to prioritise empowering themselves with knowledge of technology and learn street language of the present generation to have stress free ministry work.

He said, “If you don’t balance what you want to teach or preach to the present generation, they cannot listen to you. Telling them about Christ’s power and wisdom dimension, or talking about Elijah and Elisha, this and that, does not catch their attention. But when you tell them about mental fortitude and toughness, they need in the world, about having a mentor, someone who has done what they are doing and has corrected their mistakes as the best person to give them a platform to showcase what they have inside of them, and teach them that the mistakes they made, they won’t make them. That will interest them to listen to you and be rigidly focused.”
Pastor Oladiyun made this known as the guest speaker during the Joint Christian Ministers Crusade Int’l. (JCMC Int’l.) ministers’ conference theme, “Empowerment For Stress-Free Ministry Work”, held at Faith Family Bible Church, Ojodu, Lagos.

He said, the present generation destiny is colorful and bright, but are struggling with a lot of things, they have to say no to because the eyes of God are too pure to behold iniquities and to minister holiness to them, they need the originality of the Bible but ministers of God must learn their language to maintain the originality of the Bible with them. “For them to listen to us, win their souls, and bring them to church. We must change our language to speak their language.”
“By the time you talk about colorado, skunk, bitter pills, gutter water, hookup, runs, olosho, cadillac, vape, shisha, skala, twosome, and other street’s language, they are ready to listen to you, then you renounced them with scriptures and pray them out of their lives”, he advised.

Pastor Oladiyun encouraged ministers of God not to underrate street language and knowledge of technology in the place of ministry work. “Every gospel minister must develop their knowledge of technology and learn the present generation’s language. You can be stressing yourself quoting the Bible without communicating to their soul, and they can be on the phone talking for an hour without hearing what they are saying, but they are communicating. If you don’t upgrade to their level, you will be stressed”, he admonished.
Quoting scriptures, he said, today, to have a stress-free life and ministry, ministers must understand the present season and the need for the children of Israel’s anointing. “Till now, Israel as a nation can never go to war without setting three tribes in their front, the tribes of Judah, sons of the Isaachars who understood times and seasons, and have the spirit of discernment with intuition. Then the tribe of Zebulun, who have the means and bring it for arms.
“These are the types of people we need in the church and the ministry for stress-free ministry work because the gospel is free, but it’s costly”, Oladiyun stated.
In his remark, the President of the Joint Christian Ministers Crusade Int’l. (JCMC Int’l.), Rev. David Aboderin said, the Church of Christ is marching on and if there is anything that will lead us, it is the understanding of the time of this season and realising that the Church cannot stay on a mediocre level, we have to move up to add to our faith, knowledge, and as we are talking of stress-free ministry, we have to learn the place of casting your cares on the Lord and dealing with worry, fear, anxiety, and trusting God to help us in this great assignment.
“To experience freedom from stress, the work of God should not be carried by us. We should learn to allow God to help us”, Aboderin said.
