The Jesus World Changers Apostolic Mission (JWCAM) annual Kingdom Life Conference is scheduled to be held on Thursday, 6 November 2025, at the main hall of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Victoria Island, Lagos, with the theme, “From Systemic Poverty to Sustainable Prosperity: A Biblical and Marketing Impact-Oriented Framework.”
The Keynote Speaker for the 3rd Series annual conference is Dr Obiageli Ezekwesili, a renowned and acknowledged public commentator, leadership coach, global speaker, and founder/CEO of Human Capital Africa. Other guest speakers at the conference are the Group Managing Director/CEO, Alpha Morgan Capital Group, Mr Ade Buraimo, the President and Chairman, Governing Council, NIPR, Dr Ike Neliaku, and the CEO, Akin Akinpelu Learning and Development, Dr Akin Akinpelu, with the Convener, also the Senior Pastor of Jesus World Changers Apostolic Mission (JWCAM), Dr Olubayode Awosika, who are going to speak at the conference.

According to Dr Olu Awosika, a market place apostle, pastor, medical practitioner, and director of Med-in Specialist Hospital, an entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Also, the convener of Kingdom Lifestyle Conference, he said, “We’re not a church, and this is not a church programme; it is all about God and His kingdom lifestyle. We invite those who are doing great things and making a real impact in the marketplace to come and share their practical life testimonies, experience, and Christian values. These are people who have, in their various fields of endeavour, practically proved themselves, and God has helped them to be above board in their various endeavours. When they speak, whatever they are saying would not be sensational, or imagination, but practical, incisive, and reality to inspire”.
The third series of the annual conference has previously hosted some respected and notable Nigerian Christians in the marketplace, including the former Vice President of Nigeria, H.E Prof Yemi Osinbajo, former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Dr Tunde Lemo, the Chairman/CEO, Coscharis Group, Dr Cosmas Maduka, the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Bishop Matthew Kukah, and others as speakers. This year, the Kingdom Lifestyle Conference will feature Dr Obiageli Ezekwesili as the keynote speaker, alongside other notable and respected Nigerians, including Mr Ade Buraimo, Dr Ike Neliaku, and Dr Akin Akinpelu, who have made a significant impact in their fields and added value to the marketplace as speakers.

“As much as possible, we made this conference open to people, especially Christians, without denominational barriers. This is not a church programme, and we don’t make it a Church programme. It is all about God’s kingdom lifestyle and values with which lives are practically challenged, impacted, and transformed to effect a change of attitude in the marketplace and the society”.
“Among other things, the conference will talk about parents and guardians, both spiritual and biological, about how to know the source of their children’s income, to prevent them from bringing in money they don’t understand the source before accepting it. This is part of what the conference is all about, to impact and expose people beyond the field, and to help them succeed through genuine and godly means of livelihood”, Dr Awosika stated.

He emphasised that it’s easy for a church pastor, in a sermon, to quote all the Bible and incite people to attract them. But we are talking about practical people who have been there, and God has helped them to succeed. This doesn’t mean pastors are preaching theories, but for those in business, indeed and other fields of professional endeavours, are encouraging those who are in this culturally inclined environment, and need help to survive and do well without corrupting or maligning themselves. “Our environment in Nigeria is in such a terrible state that only God will help servants of God, or the child of God, to be in the marketplace and not be corrupted”, he added.
Speaking further on the conference’s impact on the church and society, Awosika said, I have been a full-time pastor in a church for about 20 years, and rose to become the senior pastor of that church. At the same time, I was the managing director of my hospital and other businesses I was running. I was in the field combining both spiritual and physical work, and I knew how pressured you can be when someone asks you to give kickbacks or bribes. “What we want the children of God to know is that, though it is tough, with the help of God, you can make it without the precondition of giving and accepting kickback or bribe, as written in the Bible. That still doesn’t stop appreciating, or being grateful to someone who genuinely does something for you, that is not giving a bribe, but thank you without precondition”.
Part of what we are communicating to the church is that they should not only take money in, but also look inward and care more for its people. “We need to provide for our people, instead of building an empire for ourselves, while the Church is not the world. But we are now making provision for the world, rather than providing for our people. Whatever the church can do, they should because there’s no reason why people should be hungry in the church”, Dr Awosika emphasised.
