    NCPC To Commence Easter Pilgrimage Exercise In July – Bishop Adegbite

    The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has announced that the Commission will commence the 2025 Easter Pilgrimage exercise to Israel and Jordan in July.

    According to a statement by Celestine Toruka, the Deputy Director and Head of Media and Public Relations, Bishop Adegbite made this disclosure during a meeting with members of the Conference of States, comprising Chairmen and Secretaries of the States Christian Pilgrims Welfare Boards, including FCT, at the NCPC Corporate headquarters in Abuja.

    He emphasized the importance of teamwork and synergy between the Commission and the States Pilgrimage leaders, stating, “Pilgrimage is a Ministry, and as such, we are all working for God. God is our sustaining grace; we have started well, and we are going to finish well.”

    The NCPC boss urged states participating in the Easter Pilgrimage to mobilize their intended pilgrims for screening by NCPC officials without delay.

    He also commended Jigawa State for formally inaugurating a brand new Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board and encouraged other states to constitute functional boards.

    The Chairman of the Conference of States, Bishop David Moradeyo, commended Bishop Adegbite for the success of the 2024 Main Pilgrimage exercise and his visionary leadership.
