Many Prophet Are Noise Maker and Jamboree, …the Church should wake up -Rev. Olutoye

The General Overseer, Words of Eternal Life and Revival Ministry, Rev. Sam Olutoye has called on Christians and Church leaders to rise up from living in the past glory and lead people right back to God’s eternal glory.

“Many Church leaders are living their dreams in the past glory of God while leaving the eternal glory as secondary, which has adversely affected leaving Christians and the Church in a position where the Goliaths are shouting and yelling, with Christians becoming jittery in the face of threats”, he said.

Citing the examples of little David and giant Goliath. Also, the three Hebrew children (Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego) and Daniel who from the unknown, untitled and uncategorized person’s rose to become leaders and the voice of God in their generation and their respective nations. “Nigerian Christians and the Church require a leader and a voice to lead and speak for them in this generation”, he said. “Such people may not necessarily be popular, famous and have large congratulations or auditoriums. But, exceptionally ordained by God for that purpose”, Olutoye added.

Rev. Olutoye went on berating many claiming to be prophet and voice of God, but are noise makers, causing unnecessary disturbance and distractions in the country while craving for undue attention, pecuniary gains and food for their bellies in the name of giving prophecy. “These groups of people are deceitful, liars, full of assumptions and manipulative without speaking the true mind of God”, he added.
