God’s Miracle Should Not Be Taking for Granted –Bishop Steve Ogedengbe …Faith is the purchasing power of good news –Archbishop Osa-Oni

The national Vice President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), South West Zone, Archbishop John Osa-Oni has declared that, nothing excites a man in life than good news. He made this known while speaking as guest minister at the thanksgiving service of Evangelical Ministries (Wisdom Chapel) the26th annual convention, themed, “Good News”, held at the church headquarters in Shasha, area of Lagos state.

Quoting different scriptures to drive home his message, Osa-Oni shared different examples of bible stories like Paul and Silas out of prison, with his personal testimony; he described good news as a language of salvation, joy, celebration and positive change in life. “Good news is something that is positive, encouraging and uplifting; an antidote of renewed energy, healing, liberation, strength, confidence and joyfulness. It moves you from obscurity to limelight and to a place of celebration”, he stated.

“Good news is the power of God unto salvation, reputable for restoration and transformation. It is not a religion, but a conviction that encourages life’s repositioning”, he added.

He explained further, “good news breaks protocol and adds value to life, increases and sustains life, turnaround situations and bring promotion. Good news is a power to salvation, it rekindles hope alive, refreshes and strengthens life, and no one rejects good news”, he said.

Archbishop Osa-Oni admonished the congregation, not to lose sight of their faith, but to be more dedicated in their service to God. Pointing out that, “the only person that can make you a failure is you. No matter what you are going through now, because, Jesus is always there at the center of your life as good news, your delay situation is not denial, it’s a matter of time and good news will come”.

“Faith is the currency and purchasing power of good news, if you don’t have faith, you can’t experience good news. You must have faith in God and believe in His word”, he declared.

Osa-Oni who was at the thanksgiving with his wife, Rev. (Mrs.) Enitan Osa-Oni and did not only minister in word, he demonstrated fatherly love to the choir and was full of excitement with energy. He prophesied, declared, pronounced and blessed the people with the prophetic word, “your 2024 have started with Good News.”

Meanwhile, the presiding bishop of Evangelical Ministries (Wisdom Chapel) and the host, Bishop Steven Ogedengbe has warned that God’s miracle should not be taken for granted. “When you are positioned for good news, the devil is standing by to distract you. But when you are happy with other people’s good news, your prayers will be answered faster. Because, when God has favoured you no man can deny you”, he revealed.
