It is with profound gratitude to Almighty God for a life well lived and in total submission to His sovereign will that we formally announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, patriarch, and elder statesman, Chief Osazemwinde Oni (Osa-Oni), the Ineh of Usen land, who peacefully transitioned to glory at the remarkable age of 125 years on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
According to an official statement signed by Archbishop John Alagbala Adebayo Osa-oni, the Presiding Archbishop of Vineyard Christian Ministries, and son of the deceased on behalf of the family, the late Chief Osa-Oni lived an extraordinary life marked by unwavering faith, irresistible impact, and selfless service to God, his family, and humanity.
His enduring legacy of godly character, love, sacrificial leadership, and wise counsel will continue to inspire generations yet unborn.
During this period, the family and community will deeply appreciate your prayers, love, and support.
As the family takes solace in Psalm 116:15, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.”
