Bishop Taiwo Ajose Celebrates Life at 60 …celebrate people while alive – Bishop Stephen Adegbite
The Lagos State Chairman of CAN and the Executive Secretary of Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has remarked that it is better to celebrate and honour people when they are alive than when they’re dead.

Bishop Adegbite made the statement in Lagos while speaking at the 60th birthday thanksgiving and celebration of Bishop Theophilus Taiwo Ajose, the Senior Pastor of Ajose Ministries International Inc., and the Rector of Prayer and Intercession School, who recently celebrated his 60th birthday at the Glitter Hall, Oregun, Lagos.

At the well-attended ceremony, graced by notable Christian leaders and ministers of God from different denominations, as well as business associates, family, friends, and well-wishers, Bishop Adegbite said, it is important to begin celebrating and honouring people at the time they are alive, than when they have passed away.

Quoting from the scripture, Adegbite thanked God for the celebrant, Bishop Taiwo Ajose life of service to the kingdom of God and humanity. He described him as a man with a heart of service, a dependable personality and a man of impeccable character.

“Bishop Ajose is a man of humility, always a reliable friend and a dedicated servant of God. He is a good example of loyalty and a man of God who is not relenting in the delivery of any task given to him. He is generous and faithful in the service of God and cheerful in giving”, he said.

Commending Bishop Ajose’s dedication to work ethic as his Special Adviser for Special Duties, he said, “I am not an easy person to work with, but he has proved himself to be capable of the task and he has not failed in discharging his duty and disappointed me,” he stated.

“If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, now let Israel say. 60 years is not a small feat in the life of a man. He deserves the celebration of the glory of God”, Adegbite said.

Highlights of the colourful and glamorous birthday celebration with the touch of royalty in the atmosphere of praises, worship, thanksgiving, testimonies, and Bible reading was a minute of silence in memory of Bishop Ajose’s late twin brother, Pastor Kehinde Ajose, and the late former CAN Chairman, Bishop Alexander Bamgbola who was a mentor and spiritual father to the celebrant.

Also, Dr. Funmi Andrew ministered a special song rendition during the celebration and Pastor Dickson Anyanwu led a special prayer for the celebrant and his family.

Among guests and Christian leaders at the no-dull-moment birthday celebration are Bishop Stephen Adegbite and his wife, Princess Adewunmi Adegbite (who celebrated her birthday 2 days earlier), Chaplain, Christ the Light Chapel, Alausa, Rev. Dr. Dele Ajayi, Rev. (Mrs.) Gbemi Olaleye, Rev Toyin & Rev (Mrs.) Shade Kehinde, Bishop Stephen & wife, Rev. (Mrs.) Mercy Ogedengbe, Rev.
