Yaba Mega Chapter of FGBMFI First Meeting After Pandemic

Members of Yaba Mega Chapter of the Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship International (FGBMFI) recently had their first physical meeting at Best Western Hotel Sabo, Yaba after the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.

Members of the chapter were delighted to meet physically after a period of a year behind zoom where they had been meeting regularly.

In his brief message titled, “Waiting on the Lord”, the Chapter Field Representative, Mr. Bassey Umoh, described waiting on the Lord as absolute trust in the Lord, exercising strong faith in Him, total humility before God, praising God under any circumstances or situation, regular studying and meditation on the word of God.

Quoting from Isaiah 40:31, “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”, Mr. Umoh charged members and christians to continue trusting in the Lord and His word. He further explained what mostly happens when waiting on the Lord. “When we wait on the Lord, most things that happen are, as the Eagle, our strength are renewed, we mount up the wings like the Eagle, and because life is a race, we will run and not be weary; walk and not faint”.

In his remarks, the President of the chapter, Mr. Tonye Briggs encouraged members not to be weary in their service, worship and fellowship with God and for humanity.

Members of the fellowship shared and testified to great things and miracles of God in their lives and endeavours.

They thanked God for His Word and for granting grace with guidance to wait on Him always through the journey of life.
