Resentment Towards God Hinders the Right Atmosphere – Apostle Richard Udoh

Apostle Richard Udoh, the Senior Pastor of The Father’s House, Akute, Ogun State, has challenged Christians and believers of the gospel to cultivate a spiritual atmosphere and take charge of their environment without resentment and unfair judgment towards God.

Apostle Richard Udoh, the Senior Pastor, The Father’s House, Ojodu-Akute, Ogun State.

Apostle Richard Udoh was speaking during the church’s 2025 Emmaus Road Conference, themed “Unhindered”, held at Ojodu-Akute in Ogun State.

Speaking on Maintain the Right Atmosphere with scriptures and references from the Bible, he noted that, “when you become too familiar with God, resent His authority, and judge Him unfairly, you will hinder the power and the move of God in your life. He will seal your faith and restrict the manifestation of His presence or keep away completely from you”.

“No matter your social status or spiritual standing, don’t doubt God or be too familiar with Him. His power and presence are always available for your good, but they flow best where honoured, believed, and welcomed. The spiritual atmosphere you cultivate will either invite God or restrict Him or even keep Him out completely”, he warned.

Apostle Chibueze Okezie ministering during the conference

“As long as you move from your atmosphere, a wrecking and turbulent situation, to His atmosphere, a place of fellowship and relationship, He will communicate a lasting solution to you. It doesn’t matter if every piece of the boat is shattered, a hopeless situation, you will not die”, he added.

You may be in the same family, work in the same office, or attend the same church with others; cultivate a different atmosphere, abide by His authority, and remain in His presence, while others in the same environment are getting panic over their situation, you will be calm, peaceful, and receive divine instruction with direction.

Sharing his personal experience, Apostle Udoh said, I understood the laws of atmosphere and arranged my atmosphere. It is a choice to understand the laws of the atmosphere; it is adjustable and can be decided.

He further said The power to be unhindered lies in an atmosphere where nothing holds you back. What determines the atmosphere you carry is the state of your mind. “Make your atmosphere an atmosphere of life, an atmosphere of light that shines in darkness, and darkness could not overpower because your victory lies in your right atmosphere”, he said.

Admonishing that, “You must be on top of your game when you are in a situation and don’t know what to do. Don’t say yes, don’t say no, and don’t squeeze your face. That is when you know how much of God you trust in”.

Minister Eastwind ministering in songs at the conference

Apostle Udoh advised that, in order to make the right choice, you must be in right environment. “Understand who you are and the choices you willingly or unwillingly, knowingly or unknowingly make to be unhindered in anything God has allowed them to be in.

If God is going to be popular in your matter, why are you afraid of facing the Babylonian fire? It was after the Hebrew boys had defied the king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, and they went into the fire, and the man saw the fourth man. That is when the man said, Bring them out, and he made a decree in his entire kingdom that no other God must be worshipped than the God of Daniel.

Minister Divine Mercy during her ministration at the conference

“No other God” became popular because they proved the hand of God. The atmosphere may not change in one day, but it didn’t get spoiled in one day, and it changed the entire nation”, Apostle Udoh charged.
