Ohakosim, Mbanisi, Ebun Ojo, Jegede Declares, Women are Spiritually Prepared to Impact Nations
The President and Convener of Female Gospel Ministers Network International, Apostle Angela Ohakosim, has said the network was born out of a spiritual burden to amplify the voices of women in the Lord’s vineyard.

It was birthed through a divine stirring, compelling women to step out beyond traditional boundaries and take their rightful place in revival, societal transformation, and kingdom advancement.

Apostle Ohakosim made this known during the two-day conference of Female Gospel Ministers Network International, themed “Women Arise for Global Impact”, held at Victory Holy Ghost Mission Church, Lagos.

She emphasised that women are not only ready; they are strategically positioned and spiritually equipped for the demands of global impact. “Across generations, women have demonstrated resilience, ingenuity, and unyielding faith, and the present generation of women ministers has witnessed an unprecedented awakening. Women are embracing leadership, intellectual empowerment, and spiritual depth, to confront and conquer global challenges”, she said.

Ohakosim called on women to leverage the strategic communication platforms, engagements, and network opportunities available to them and rise for Global Impact.

“We can showcase inspiring success stories, testimonies, and impactful initiatives to challenge societal norms and inspire mass participation with clear, compelling, and action-oriented content in every area of life, calling, and enterprise”, she stated.

While expecting a spiritual reawakening that will ignite a fresh fire in the life of women, she desires the birthing of innovative ideas, collaborations, and divine connections that will transcend denominational and geographical barriers among women.

“Ultimately, I expect this vision to produce women who are not only spiritually empowered but are practically equipped to influence nations, reshape cultures, and leave indelible footprints on the sands of time”, she stated.

Meanwhile, a key speaker during the conference, Rev. Mrs Busola Jegede, speaking from the book of Numbers 27, explained that the five daughters of Zelophehad, Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah, are case studies and good examples of women who impacted their generation and changed the cultural limitations.

“To break glass ceilings and make an impact, women must rise and take up the challenge. Nobody is coming to save women; women must deliver themselves from ministerial poverty, and any woman who wants to make a global impact must be ready to stand with leaders and opposition”, she declared.

Jegede added that, regardless of a woman’s pedigree, she possesses the spiritual capacity to do God’s work. If she can overcome the cultural limitations, she will go far, because men don’t respect emotion.

“If women who are spiritually empowered can stand on their calling and not be intimidated by sentiments, they can rise above what is needed to do, but many women don’t know God is backing them up; they are looking at faces and scared of what people will say”, she said.

She further explained that those five women didn’t mind what people were saying, and the law was against them, yet they stood not only in front of Moses, but also in front of Eliezer the priest, in front of many people, and by the door of the tabernacle. Meaning they came out prepared, “women should not mumble and complain; they should take a step, even if they call you names, which most women are afraid of”, Rev Jegede charged.

Commenting on the conference, Apostle Esther Ekwy Madubufo said, God has raised a generation of women labourers and of Esthers. Women who are ready for global impacts, expansion and ministerial revolution. They have the word, the fire, the anointing, and can call down fire.

These are women who know what it means to be a woman, who understand what revival is, who recognise that women are helpmates, and who realise that the only person women share that name with is the Holy Spirit. Women are helpmates, and the Holy Spirit is a helper.

From the beginning, the culture we are in is male-dominated, even from Christ’s. Yet, there were women during Christ’s ministry who demonstrated that they were prepared for global impact.

“There will always be competition, contention and conflicts from men. But we expect that everyone’s life has been impacted, with a passion to release what they have learned during the conference”, Apostle Esther Madubufo said.

Other speakers and facilitators at the well-attended conference include Rev. Mrs Sophy Mbanisi, Rev Dr Ebun Ojo, Apostle Blessing Nobert, Amb. Dr Eunice Unokhua, Pastor Tinu-Oye Johnson, Dr Alice Oludimu, Barr. Amadigwe Dike, among others.
