NACLFON Unites Nigerian Christian Leaders for Southwest Political Reformation Summit in Lagos
The National APC Christian Leaders Forum of Nigeria (NACLFON) has concluded arrangements to hold its South-West Summit in Lagos, with delegates from Osun, Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, and Ekiti States.

The strategic gathering, designed to bridge the gap between spiritual stewardship and transformative governance, is themed “Divine Mandate for Political Reformation of Renewed Hope Agenda” and scheduled for Tuesday, February 24, 2025, at the main field of the Nigeria Police College, Ikeja, Lagos, from 9 am.
The summit, that will attract prominent Nigerian Christian leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders from different denominations across the South West, represents a significant milestone in NACLFON’s ongoing mission to mobilize the Church, Christians, and Christian leaders within the All Progressives Congress (APC) for active, values-driven participation in nation-building.
The summit seeks to foster a unique dialogue on how faith-based ethical principles can be harnessed to ensure governance reforms anchored in integrity, accountability, and service to humanity are strengthened under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.

The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, is expected to lead prominent guests as the Special Guest of Honour. Other notable attendees include the Chairman, Lagos State Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), and the Executive Secretary of Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite; NACLFON National Coordinator, Prof. Peter Abraham; and other distinguished Christian leaders and personalities.
The summit promises to be a turning point for Christians’ participation and involvement in governance and politics in Nigeria.

According to the NACLFON South West Coordinator, Pastor (Prof) Adebayo Adeniji, the summit underscores the significance of the South-West ecclesiastical and political landscape.

This is the time for Christians in Nigeria, starting from the South West, to be openly involved in party politics, governance, and administration of our nation, rather than sitting in the gallery complaining and praying with lamentation about the situation without taking steps while some group of people controls our commonwealth.

While extending hands of fellowship to Christians, Prof. Adeniji said, “This is not about tribe, ethnicity, denomination, or doctrine, but a wake-up call to Christians, as Jesus Christ commanded and the Bible teaches: ‘the government of the world is on His shoulder’ and ‘occupy till I come’.”
NACLFON’s aim is to mobilize and educate Christians on the importance of active participation in the electoral process, supporting APC candidates at all levels of government.
