A Nigerian, UK based philanthropist, church administrator, marriage counselor and educationist, Deaconess Caroline Joke Martins-Ojo has recently in her verified Facebook account appealed to christians and believers to always create time and be committed faithfully to serve in the house of God and other places where they worship as workers.

She advised that, “There are loads of work to be done in the house of God and where you worship. Instead of being just a church goer or attendees, a Christian should be committed to part of the loads of work in the house of God and where they worship”.

“Aside from going to work, don’t rush home after the service, be committed to do something in the house of God as a mark of honour and service to serve in your heavenly Father’s house”, she admonished.

Highlighting some available areas where to serve in the house of God, Deaconess Caroline suggested, passing the hoover round, cleaning up of the rest rooms, joining the protocol, the choir, the evangelism team, the media and welfare department or other are that can keep a Christian useful, committed and dedicated to serve in the house of God.

She further encouraged Christians to seek necessary information of areas where they can willingly serve in the house of God from their pastor. “Because, the pastor alone cannot serve in every area in the house of God.”

“Blessing upon blessings with great rewards await those who wholeheartedly trust God and serve  in His vineyard”, she added.
