Lagos CPFN Wakes the Giant with Police for Christ 

The Lagos chapter of Christian Police Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN) had their revival and annual thanksgiving programme, theme, “Police for Christ” at Area E Command headquarters, Festac Town, Lagos.

In his brief exhortation, guest speaker at the programme, Evang. Evan Chidi enjoined the officers of the Nigerian Police to develop reasons for saying thank you to God. “For many reasons there is a need for members of the Christian Police Fellowship and their colleagues to always thank God for divine protection, intervention and provision in discharging their duty of serving humanity and the society, sometimes at a risky point”.

He emphasized that, God has spoken, revealed, pronounced and declared His word of safety, protection, provisions and great reward to everyone who diligently serves his purpose, and the word of God will not come back without accomplishing the purpose by which it has been spoken and declared.

Other activities during the programme that have Lagos State CPFN Coordinator, DCP. Obafemi Adesanya as special guest of honour, Area E Police Commander, ACP Afegbai Igbafe and other rank and file officers from other police formation and command in Lagos State, includes prayer sessions for the Nigeria, Lagos State and environ, the Police Force and other security outfits.

In his remark, DCP. Obafemi Adesanya encouraged members of the fellowship and other Police officers to remain faithful to God, be committed to their call to duty and loyal to the nation.
