How I Gave My Husband Headache in the Early Days of our Marriage + how God warned me – Funke Felix Adejumo

Rev. (Mrs.) Funke Felux-Adejumo, a respected Nigerian pastor, marriage counselor and the president of Funke Felix Adejumo Foundation has revealed how in the early stages of their marriage, she used to be extremely jealous, fighting her husband even in the Church until God said He would replace me with another woman.

    Funke Felix

She admonished women, “If you struggle with your husband, you will surely get to where you are going”. My one number calling aside preaching is Felix Adejumo (My husband), I am called for him.

“Some years ago, when I was praying, I said to God “Father, I will so much stand by my husband, if he fails, hold me responsible”.

Sharing her marital experience, she said, “The secret of champions is in their story”. I didn’t marry my husband as a pastor, and I didn’t know that he was going to be a pastor, so when my husband became a pastor, it was very hard for me, because I was not used to that kind of life, I didn’t see any examples around me, I didn’t see any great marriages around me, so I began to give my husband headache.

People always look at our church and say that it is growing, without knowing what our marriage looks like, our marriage was not something to be proud of as of then, and it kept on being the same until I encountered God on a particular day, He said to me, “Why am I distracting my Zechariah (My husband)”, and He also asked me this, “How do you want your funeral service to be, because am also planning to get your husband another wife, who will allow him fulfill my purpose for his life, she will also take care of your children, and you will not be missed”. After that encounter, I became lost in my husband’s ministry and vision, I became digested in him, and that was when I added Felix to my name, so that people will know that I am the wife of Felix Adejumo, and I am grateful to God for giving me my husband, because I can’t imagine life without him.

“Nobody emerges anyhow, God will first test you, before He will trust you”, she explained.

“Wives, If you kill your Zechariah, how can you emerge? If you kill your Zechariah with nagging, how do you think you can rise?”

Stop all manner of unnecessary nagging, and make a change in your life and marriage, Funke Felix-Adejumo advised.
