Adamawa Governor Commends NCPC Boss, Adegbite on Innovations, Revitalization of the Commission
The Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Fintiri, has commended the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, for his innovative approach and revitalization efforts within the Commission.
In a release signed by the Deputy Director and Head of Media and Public Relations, Celestine Toruka, Governor Fintiri expressed his renewed faith and confidence in the organization of Christian pilgrimage during a courtesy visit of Bishop Adegbite and NCPC delegation to the governor. “Hope, newness, and strength have been brought back to Christian pilgrimage,” he acknowledged.

The Governor assured the NCPC boss of his continued support, emphasizing that his administration is committed to fairness and accountability. “Together, we will continue to seek progress and unity of our country, Nigeria,” he said.
Governor Fintiri used the opportunity to appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s support for the people of Adamawa and pledged his loyalty to the President. “I will not fail to recognize him as my President and Leader,” he affirmed.
Bishop Adegbite, in remark, commended Governor Fintiri for his support of Christian pilgrimage and the positive impact he has had on Adamawa State since taking office. He also expressed appreciation to the President Tinubu and the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for their support.

The NCPC boss announced that the Commission is in Adamawa State to airlift the 4th flight of Christian pilgrims to Israel and Jordan and assured the people of the state that there is a total ceasefire in Israel despite initial concerns. “We work by faith and not by sight,” he emphasized.
Bishop Adegbite prayed for the safe return of the pilgrims and urged them to conduct themselves lawfully during the pilgrimage exercise. He also commended the Governor for the tremendous change he has brought to Adamawa State since his assumption of office.
The NCPC boss prayed for the continued growth and development of Adamawa State.
