Many State Governors Don’t Deserve To Be in Office –Methodist prelate, Uche

The prelate of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Primate Samuel Uche has accused some State governors in Nigeria of not winning elections that brought them to power.

Many of them are product of Supreme Court judgement and came to power through help of the Supreme Court who gave them victory.

The prelate raised this allegation in Ibadan, while speaking during the funeral service of late Parakoyi of Ibadanland, Chief Bode Akindele over the weekend.

Primate Uche described some of the candidates the courts upheld as winners as “undeserving.”

“Electoral victories are given to some undeserving candidates through the court of law,” he said.

“There is one political party here in Nigeria, even when you don’t win an election the party would give you victory through the supreme court.

“Many governors are supreme court governors, they did not win their elections and they are not supposed to be in office.

“This is lawlessness and that is why I call some of our courts, court of lawlessness,” he added.
